
So this recipe is from one of my favourite internet cooking shows called Bitchin' Kitchen. It's an awesome show, with a awesome host, who is funny as heck.
So the recipe is called Gorgonzola Farfalle Pasta.
You will need for ingredients:
- Farfalle Pasta
- 1 table spoon of unsalted butter
- 2 Portabello Mushrooms, sliced into squares
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 2 cups of half&half
- 1 cup of gorgonzola cheese
Now here are the instructions to making this awesome pasta:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter in a pan on med heat.
- Add 2 sliced portabello mushrooms.
- Add 1 minced clove of garlic, saute for 5-7 minutes.
- Strain juices and set mushrooms aside. (*We strain the juice because it'll stain the cream sauce a purple-gray... not exactly an appetizing color.)
- In a saucepan, heat 2 cups of half&half on med heat.
- Add 1 cup of crumbled Gorgonzola cheese. Stir until it melts, about 5-7 minutes.
- Lower the heat and delicately spoon in the mushrooms, stir 2x, no more! Remember, we don't want to stain the sauce.
- Boil farfalle al dente in salted water. Coat with cream sauce and lots of portabello chunks.
- Serve with a robust red wine, like a Pinot Nior.
